KEEN took a large part at IEEE ICTE 2021 "Leading Digital Transformation in Business and Society" Virtual conference which was held by Kaunas University of Technology in August 24 – 27, 2021

The purpose of this Professional Development Workshop (PDW) “Digital pedagogy in entrepreneurship: implications for the practice”, organised by KEEN partnership was to begin to explore the implications of digital shift on the online pedagogy in entrepreneurship on and develop some practical understanding of the profile and practice of the current trend in teaching entrepreneurship.
The implications, opportunities and challenges of digital pedagogy of entrepreneurship are wide but underexplored. This PDW offers the opportunity for new and established educators and researchers to explore the implications of online means, tools, and practices in teaching entrepreneurship for their pedagogical practice and for the wider community, to consider questions relating to:
Program consisted of 5 presentations by the experts in digital pedagogy and fruitful discussions moderated by Dr. Richard Adams and Dr. Sergey Portyanko. Program and registration list is attached in Annex X
2nd KEEN PhD Colloquium
We were delighted to welcome participants to the 2nd KEEN PhD Colloquium “Relational Strategies for Sustainable Digital Entrepreneurship” organized by KEEN partnership: Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania, Cranfield University, United Kingdom, University of Wuppertal, Germany, and University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
The second KEEN Forum PhD Colloquium has offered a unique opportunity for doctoral students to present their research and receive constructive feedback on their research projects and guidance how to develop it further.
The colloquium included keynote presentations by leading scholars Professor Dr. Tugrul Daim (Portland State University) and Associate Professor Dr. Charlotta Sirén (University of St. Gallen), parallel track presentations, a practical presentation practical presentation on how to publish research during the PhD studies will be led by Barbara Schmidt and Dr. Henrik Wesemann (St. Gallen University) and networking session. In addition, the format of the KEEN Forum PhD Colloquium each session had a facilitator to provide supportive discussion among the doctoral students and participating researchers.
Selected submissions were published in e-proceedings of the 2nd KEEN PhD Colloquium. KEEN PhD Colloquium has attracted over 70 participants and 8 PhD students, who presented their early research ideas. Program and registration can be found in Annex X.
KEEN Track “Sustainability in Digital Entrepreneurship”
Track 1 in IEEE ICTE conference consisted of 3 sessions and 11 presentations.

The development and adoption of digital technologies continues to transform the ways in which businesses operate and perform. Recently, attention has turned towards how entrepreneurs are mobilizing and exploiting the affordances of digital technologies in the service of the sustainability agenda.
The track invited contributions that further explore the links and possibilities of innovation, entrepreneurship, digital technologies, grand challenges and sustainable business growth.
