The first KEEN Forum was held on April 29th, Kaunas University of Technology in Valley "Santaka". Auditorium was blown away with great discussions and team building between researchers from Universities of Lithuania, Germany, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Powerful presentations by Cranfield University and University of Wuppertal had a huge impact on the audience and left a spot for important questions about entrepreneurship education and challenges of entrepreneurial ecosystem. Panel discussion about breeding unicorns called out intensive discussion on this topic where representatives from academia and business had some interesting ideas pointing out.

The first Forum of the Knowledge-Empowered Entrepreneurship Network (KEEN) will take place at Kaunas University of Technology in Santaka Valley on April 29. The Forum is organized by Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania, in partnership with Cranfield University, United Kingdom, University of Wuppertal, Germany and University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
The aim of the Knowledge-Empowered Entrepreneurship Network (KEEN) is to strengthen research and innovation competence in entrepreneurship, and develop new knowledge on the growth of new enterprises, business model innovations and dynamic managerial capabilities of the entrepreneur.
The participants of the forum will be given a unique opportunity to learn about the development of the entrepreneurship ecosystems in Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, and advancements in the entrepreneurship research. We hope that the first KEEN forum will pave the way for closer cooperation between universities and business, and highlight a number of real-life issues for future research on entrepreneurship.
